Hi Eugene et al,

Would putting the square wave-rich looking output of your UPS into a 1:1 
external transformer reshape the wave to sine?

An only mildly interesting story from me.




I finally deduced that this must be because of the waveform of the ups
being probably very square! The heathkit was probably seeing 120Hz in
stead of 60Hz!
