Damn good advise Peter, I have printed your email.  In order to preserve off 
line (yes, paper still works best for me).
 
I am glad to meet one of the engineers responsible for these advanced 
capability UPS's and the considerations that preceded their design.
 
I am a member of the IEEE, and VP of our local engineering group. Were you a 
local to the area, I would now try and get you to accept an invitation to give 
us a talk along the lines of your short paper.
 
By the way.... just about every point you made i was going to also mention, 
so i am glad you took the time to do it (thereby saving my typing finger)
 
I wondered what the "name" was for the sine units...  
 
I sort of favor the more technical units as well... ones indicating battery 
condition, charging rate etc.
