I just rejoined the list after being away for several years. I am in the process of restoring a model 19 printer set. I have the model 15 printer which I used for RTTY back in the late 70's, the XRT 114 Table, the XD 76 Distributor Transmitter and the Perferator Transmitter.. The perforator Transmitter had all its wire cut and the printer looks to have had all the parts including connector assemblies stipped. I figure someone stripped everything off that wasn't absolutely need to run RTTY on the ham bands. I want to find all the parts and put it back into original condition and use it for RTTY. The problem is the wiring diagrams seem to contradict each other. One says you dont need this so tape these two wires together etc. It is all very confusing. I have taken some picks of it with the carriage unit removed so it can be seen what is missing and what is needed. Hopefully I can post these pics somewhere and maybe someone on the list can give me some help in determining exactly what I need. Does the list have a files section like yahoogroups ? Thank you very much. I am very much looking forward to learning more about this electromechanical wonder from the list. Hopefully by the time I am through with this I will be an expert on it and can help out someone else one of these days. Thanks agian and take care !!
