You might find it interesting that the UGC-74C model was used in
Afghanistan and Iraq for some time because it could stand the heat and
sand.
Eventually IBM came up with a notebook computer that would work but
printing was still a problem.

It's nice having this piece of mil. history working. However the
paramount question keeps coming up i.e., how on earth was this
contraption ever approved for purchase by the U.S. gov't???
Who approves this stuff? Apparently someone agrees with me as the 74B
was produced and is 1000 times better than the "A". Just venting over
the waste of my tax dollars.
