[GreenKeys] A Glass Teletype?!

In the years that I worked for a university there were a couple of
occasions when Teletype came around to try to sell us basic CRT
ASCII terminals like we were using with the time shared computer
systems. The first model was not very good; I remember in particular
that if you would hit the shift key off-center it would tend to jam
on the way down. The second model was a lot better thought out. The
keyboard action was fine and they had made provision for an optional
modem to be installed inside the unit. We didn't buy any because we
already had a lot of terminals by other makers and didn't want to add
yet another maker to the mix of those we had to maintain. (Wyse and
Televideo predominated.) This was a case where Teletype didn't have
any particular superiority over the dozens of other companies making
similar products.
