Gill,
On the 28 it is just common glass in a small rectangle. You should be able
to cut it your self or go to the glass shop with your dimensions and they
will cut it for you. Should not be too much cost.
My 15 has Plexiglas on it. Also should be available at most hardware or
hobby stores.
Unless I am well off track and you are wanting actual NOS parts for a
collection unit.
Between you and I when we kept a 15 in service at the radio station the news
folks used to use the razor blade on the cover and the plexi. We would
replace it from the local hardware. We would never call UPI for service for
that. The tech would raise heck about charging us due to abuse!
Good luck, If you need measurements let me know and I will get them from my
units.
