If you want to upgrade and have a choice, get XP Pro. If you get XP
home and later want to try Echolink or IRLP, you'll have a security
problem and won't be able to connecto to any station. I found that
out with my XP home. had to upgrade to a faster PC so got the XP
Pro. Now i get my connections on Echolink and needless to say, i am
enjoying it more.
