Sadly no one has been able to contact Fred Schmidt.  He may be ill or  
has passed away.

If you do not have any luck,  I can loan you one of my typeboxes  
until you get another.

Hi Don,

     I read all about the work you did in the building of the  
museum.  I was a teletype repairman for 20 years in the Navy and it  
would be the best thing in the world to get my hands back on a  
Teletype.  I believe I could completely take a model 28 AN/UGC-143  
apart and back together and most model 35 Teletypes.
