Ron,

Could not have said it better myself.

I have been sitting here trying to figure out just how to say this very
sentiment and here you went and did it for me.

I do feel that Herr Hachtmann's original reply would have been better sent
privately to who ever had offended his sense of morality.  But then again we
would not have seen the amount of traffic that we have seen on this list.  I
have been a member of this list for quite a few years and I have never seen
this much traffic on one subject and in such a heated manner.

Was the original posting with the links to the pictures off topic?  Yes, but
then again in the years that I have been on this list, I have seen many OT
posts.  It has happened before and it will happen again.

I think you were on point with your statement that you
are still young. Wisdom sometimes comes with old age,
but sometimes not, but a wise young person is very
rare. 

If you had added a brief apology for using the list as
a forum for your political views then we would have
been finished with this episode a few messages ago.

The way to end the subject is to simply stop e-mailing
on list or to discuss it privately off list. This is
good advice also for anyone else who feels the need to
jump into the frey.

Now, about those Model 28s...
