[GreenKeys] Possible TTY channel 518 KHz

Howdy Folks,

I was polking around on eBay and found this receiver: ALDEN NAVTEX RECEIVER 
MODEL AE-900  I Googled the unit and it comes up as a 518 KHz single channel 
receiver.  It prints out weather and emergency information.  Transmitting 
stations are all over the world according to the write-up.  In the specs for 
audio, 1700 Hz and 85 cycle shift !!  I'm assuming it's the mark freq.

Is this still an active service?  Is it 60 WPM 45.5?  Or, have they shifted 
to satellite?
