[GreenKeys] ASR 33 problems

Hello,

I recently subscribed to Greenkeys.  I'm having a lot of fun reading 
through all the old posts.

I've been trying to get a ASR33 working and have been having some trouble. 
Can someone give me advice?

When I press a character key, it prints out without any problems.  When I 
press a function key, such as Bell or Carriage Return, it also works fine. 
However, when I press a number or punctuation key, or the space bar, it 
doesn't work.  The distributor turns but the mechanism stays 
completely silent.

I tried tapping the selector magnet randomly and got it to print numbers 
when I move the motor wheel by hand, so I expect the problem is before 
that point.  I also checked the voltages on the distributor plates and 
they look correct, so I expect the problem is after that point.

Any ideas?
