[GreenKeys] Conceptually Speaking Model 28 ASR

Howdy Greenies,

I'm closing in on the last horizon of restoring a 28 ASR. The reperf is
mechanically connected to the KB. It has a electromagnet for BS'ing the
punched tape. It's not a typing reperf.

RE: the operation of an ASR, the TD is my last challenge. I have the
printer and perf working just fine. The TD has an electromagnet that I
assume operates the clutch to engage whence there is paper tape in the
receiver and latched down, lever in "start or run" position.

My conceptual problem: Where is the TD electrically? Is it connected in
series with the signal line? I have to figure out how to cross connect from
the "C" terminal board two items....how is the clutch engaged i.e., where
does the voltage come from to pull in that magnet and, where does the
"output" i.e., two wires from the TD signal generator get inserted into a
signal circuit?

Cosmetically, it's been to the body shop, professionally repainted the exact
colour, all the glass is new....all new red lenses. Looks factory new....I
am pleased!
