Hi Steve,
The smashed equipment seldom gets some of the valuable stuff down on
the base of the machines. The motor the gears, the drive shafts, the
couplers and most of all the GEAR SHIFT mechanisms. All of the
mounting screws are valuable as most are no longer available.
In the bottom of the machines is often an aux electrical service unit
for the aux reperforator.
Most of the stuff you can remove with a long skinny straight slot
screwdriver and a set of fractional allen wrenches. A small 1/4 inch
open end wrench and a 1/4 inch nutdriver are also helpful. If you
take anything with wires take the connectors and strips also, as
wiring diagrams are hard to come by.
