[GreenKeys] Navy radio question...

Years ago I bought what I thought was a R1051 but then when I received it turned
out to be a RT-618B/URC-35B R/T unit for the URC-35B. Since the P.S. was in
the AM-3007 I was not able to power it up. After looking the rig over I noticed
that it was alot like the RT-834 of GRC-106 fame. Then I had a BFO (Blinding
Flash of the Obvious) I modified the power module of a RT-834 to provide the B+
and +12V that the radio needed then wired it into the rear connector. The radio
came to life just fine except when I put it transceive it keyed the transmit
section. That problem turned out to be a leaking break in keying capacitor so
then the rig worked fine.
My plan was to see if I could connect it up to a AM-3349 because all the turret
lines seemed the same. But alas, it went into the roundtoit file.
Several years later what to my wondering eyes appeared.... the AM3007 on ePay.
I was the only bidder so I easily won but the freight was almost as much as the
amp.
The project stalled for another year or so for lack of inter unit connectors.
Then one day I came home to find to cardboard boxes full of military cabling by
my garage door. Lo and behold the connectors that I needed where in the box,
BUT the pins were rotated in the shell so I sanded off the guide pins then wired
the plugs to make the cable. I connected the two units then powered them up but
no joy so it's back in the roundtoit file again.
If there's any interest I'll post pics.
