[GreenKeys] Grease, Oil and M28ASR units

GM, all,

Maybe I am losing my mind at this point in my life, for I can't for the 
life of me remember what the group is using
for grease and oil to lubricate a M28 ASR. I am really at a loss to 
remember what grease to use on the gears and
other parts which the Teletype Corp recommended for use.

I am currently restoring an M28, plus boucoup typing units and reperfs 
and could use the info. Gun grease, I don't
believe, will fill the bill for gearsets because of its rather low 
viscosity, and Lubriplate is always, to me a no no because
of its hardening and tenacity with very quick aging, and tendency to 
stick parts togtether permanently  until unstuck with
solvent.

Anyhow, since we at our age are starting to suffer from CRS (Can't 
Remember S**t)  would appreciate a heads up on
the oil and grease issue. Would synthetic oil be a winner here?? and 
what grease does this vast group recommend for
the "G" points on the unit? Inquiring minds want to know [grin].
