Hi all,

I was just rereading Irv Hoff's An Introduction to Amateur Radioteletype,
when I noticed his reference:

"...it was not until 1906 that the first teleprinter as we know it, was
invented by Charles Krum...."

Is 1906 the commonly held date for the beginnings of teleprinters? If so,
why aren't we celebrating this centennial event? Pass the ice cream and cake!
