I think I may have given out some incorrect information.

The J1 wrench used to adjust many parts in a M28 typing unit,  
especially the clutches, is a small double open end wrench about 5/64  
inch thick.

The small open end is 3/16 inch and the large end is 1/4 inch when  
new.  After some years of use the 1/4 inch end becomes 17/64 inch.

The J1 wrench is made of stamped steel that is apparently heat  
treated.  One side is stamped J1.

I think it also has a Teletype part number, but I do not have it  
here.  My tool catalog is in California.

If any of you have a Teletype tool catalog, I would gladly pay for a  
copy.
