[GreenKeys] AN/UGC-74B?

The goo has something to do with the ink in the ribbon spools, the  
material used to make the platen, and lots of heat in storage.  I  
have a couple of model 40 printers where the platens have almost  
disappeared from the heated chemical reactions.  On the cartridge  
ribbon units less of the ribbon is exposed and the platens seem to  
last longer. I guess it is a little late for a factory recall!

And as we used to say in the Navy... and this is no S--T!
