My neighbor is in charge of the parts department for a local Honda motorcycle dealer. I
mentioned that I was looking for packing material and he said that he had tons of stuff that
wrapped bikes and parts when they came in. He said that he would save some for me.
A couple of days later, a box of "goodies" arrived including packing peanuts, bubble wrap and
a big sheet of another material that looks very much like the felt pad that sits under a model
15 base. I have no idea what it is or how much of it they use but it might be worth a shot to
try a local motorcycle dealer. Needless to say, I didn't use the felt to ship anything as
it's worth keeping around for future use.
