Thank you Robert,
The power of prayer and positive thoughts are amazing. Glenna goes
in on Tuesday, March 1. The total hip replacement will begin at 1:00
p.m. Central time. Aftercare is important also. She will have
rehabilitation for several weeks and special exercises.
Note: I have replaced both toilets in our home with tall "seat
height" models. The bowl height is 17" so it will be easier for her
to use. To tell you the truth they are a lot more comfortable for me
and my son as well. Keep in mind the standard toilet is a compromise
for children as well as adults. The standard bowl height is only 14
1/2 to 15 inches.
When the hip is fully healed she goes back to the hospital to have
her shoulder replaced. It was injured several years ago when a large
student fell off the monkey bars onto her shoulder. The bone grew
spurs which are catching on her ligaments.
Again, thank you for your kindness.
