You guys are working to hard if you are using 3rd party software to copy
George's rtty stream.

Just open up windows media player normally, go up to the upper left hand
corner and click on 'file'... When it drops down, click on 'open URL',
and then type in the entire address including 'http://' in the open
window. Click ok and you are off and running. I'm running windows
media player 10 with all the upgrades by the way....

A nice little touch is if you go down to a blank spot on the task bar,
right click, and then go up to 'toolbars' and then in the drop down
menu, put a check mark beside 'windows media player'. Then when you
have windows media player open, and you get the stream from George
coming through nicely, you just 'minimize' windows media player, and it
will drop down to a miniture version down on the taskbar. Then if you
'play' with all the little buttons and things on it, you will find you
have total control of everything. One of the little buttons will even
open up a tiny window and let you see whatever visualizations you have
selected. Its a neat effect, and allows you to continue to use your
computer in a normal manner to do other things while at the same time
continuing to listen/copy the rtty stream. Of course it goes without
saying your computer should have a good (i.e. faster clock) than say
500Mhz or so. For instance I'm running a 2.8Ghz master clock in the
computer I using for copying rtty and the whole thing works perfect..

I know several people who are using windows media player this way and
copying the rtty steam without having to resort to installing 3rd party
software that tries to take over your 'other' music etc. Of course if
you like the 3rd party software better, then use it!
