I have given some more thought to the keyboard designs, and variation
between the two designs shown in the photos.

It really doesn't matter at all whether there are two space bars (one
including Figs, the other including Ltrs) and an 'erase' key, or the more
usual Figs key, Ltrs key and space bar.   What does matter is the code
punched on the tape because it is the printer which will interpret the
incoming signal accordingly, no matter what is shown on the perforator
keytop. Keyboard manufacturers would no doubt supply keytops which suit the
customers' requirements.
