I run with a M28 ASR and Collins gear.  The transmitter is rockbound  and the 
R-390A will just sit on frequency forever.  Look for me on  14081.5.  You can 
see the internals of my transmitter at qrz.com under my  call sign.
 
There was a discussion about a year ago that got to the stage of naming the  
autotune net the Hoffnet, after 6FFC. I think the issue that held things up 
was  trying to pick a frequency.
 
I'd be very interested in participating when the net is operational.
