Bill, 
Thanks for answering back. I would like to eventually
be able to receive and send teletype radio signals. I
always believed in the KISS principle so I think i'd
like to start out as simple as possible. My goal is to
send and receive teletype signals over a teletype
machine. I think it's an interesting hobby to be "on
the air" so to speak. If I wanted to keep things
simple yet be able to send and receive teletype
signals would be be the basic "checklist" of starting
equipment that I would need. I live in a restricted
condo development but have room for some equipment.  I
thought I'd send this email out the list as well and
what would be just a estimate on the start up costs.
Any input is always appreciated.
