[GreenKeys] Hammers and accelerators

Hello typing reperforator peoples of the world:

I have in my hand, a solid steel typing hammer. I cannot find the part
number for this. It is not the version with the "rubber" hammer
head...that's a different animal. My parts manual only gives the part
number for the rubber hammer stuff. That is book # 1167B....pages 10 and 49.
My "Principles of Operation" book 246B shows a solid hammer but lists no
part numbers.

MY PROBLEM: I ordered two hammers from Fred Schmidt. The first one arrived
and was two parts....the accelerator and the hammer. These are not
interchangeable with the original accelerator used with the rubber hammer
head/arm.

Fred thought the accelerator and the hammer were two hammers. So, I told
him the hammer is really the accelerator and hammer as he first sent
me....next, he sent me just another hammer....no accelerator. It won't
interchange with the old accelerator.

MY QUESTION....can anyone out there give me the part number for the solid
steel hammer's accelerator? so I can order it from Fred???

I am desperately thankful for any input,

Larry T
