The funny thing is that a very few week ago I would not have a clue what you 
said in those four paragraphs, but thanks to the group, I understood the whole 
thing.  The newest lap top could communicate with the oldest tape puncher.  
Yes, I want to type to my TD and then let the TD retransmit at a constant rate 
and not at my jerky typing speed.  As I told the others, I make a hard copy of 
these emails and then underline the learning points.  

Your experience and knowledge is appreciated.
