Puzzled:
The write up says:
"Manufactured by the NASSAU Recycling Corporation in Staten Island, New
York, a division of Western Electric for the Bell System. ..."
Was Nassau a division of WE, or just a supplier? (Not that it really
matters...)
" ...By the way... If you know of anyone having a stock of the Western
Electric Telephone Ointment let me know. It was GREAT STUFF! "
What IS/WAS "Telephone Ointment"? Is it anything like Udder Cream?
(For further information, see <http://www.uddercream.com/products.html>)

I think there is no silver content. The stuff is made of Unobtainium,
however. And, it's labelled "Western Electric", at least in lore if not in
fact.
