Is there still any interest in the "Hoffnet" suggested and pioneered earlier this year by Roy??  I have lucked into one of the MPT-3100 Hal units that went from a "parts rig" to working this weekend.  I have a LARGE learning curve before it can be back on the air as a full fledged MSO, like the "old days", but I would go to the trouble and put it on 30m in a month or two if there is interest.  For those who weren't there, MSO's were early mailboxes run on autostart frequencies.  Will store upwards of 500 messages of reasonable length.  I know that on air "mailboxes" are sort of obsolete, in this day and time, with email so available,  but it would make a very neat way to check out, and exercise the old machines.  Let me know, as I won't go to the trouble of learning, and rigging all this if there is not sufficient interest.
