[GreenKeys] My st-6 progress report

What a shock.  Some months back i had mentioned something about my ST-6
not having the regular RCA jacks on the back for the 20 and 100mv
outputs but having a DB- type connector instead.  

Well pulled the top off the thing last Friday evening to see how the
thing was wired.  It AIN"T!!!!!!!!!

No wiring to the DB connector at all and after pulling the manual off
the shelf and opening it up, it doesn't even have the AFSK AK-1 unit
installed.  The way it was built, they didn't allow room for the
mounting of the card on the end of the rack.......  All this unit is for
is FSK only.  

Fortunately the FT-990 will do FSK and that might be blessing in
disguise.  As an added note, where the Db connector is mounted looks
like a factory or some well skilled metal worker made the cut in the
back panel.  

And at first i thought things would be so simple.
