Hi Rich,

That's a good suggestion.  But I think what I want to do is to have two
separate omni directional antennas dedicated to autostart; one for 30
meters and one for 20 meters.  I will then use my high dipole for other
operating, ie SSB, AM, CW and 80 meter autostart after 9 pm.  It gives
me the maximum flexibility.  But the yard is starting to look like a
"bat trap" !

Why not put up another dipole orthogonal to your first fed with
a 90 degree phasing line.
