  If there are folks who are restricted to certain frequency steps, and we
all need to shift to a spot that will accomodate everyone, then the answer
seems obvious to me: move to the 500kc step and tell all those guys with
antiquated junk to get with the program or get off the air!!

  Oooops, no, wait -  aliens have taken over my Internet connection! Must
- get - new - blocking  -    software .... !


  Really, though I can tune my old Kenwood TS-430S to any of the
frequencies on 30M - and also the Swan Astro 102 that I am planning to
eventually dedicate to this RTTY project, so I am very happy to go to any
frequency that will allow the most use among all of us - especially the
genuine BoatAnchor and GreenRadio afficianados - and, as Roy has
mentioned, perhaps we can re-vitalize RTTY the way the AM Top Banders have
done.

  I wonder if WB6ACU would be interested in some deedle-deedle...
