Hi,
Sounds fine to me. We only need about a 300 Hz wide hole to squeeze
through. I agree that fighting a strong station a few KHz away can be a
pain but it should not cause an auto start problem.
If we are going to use conventional SSB radios then we need a bit
bigger hole. It sounds like finding a 2 KHz wide clear space may not be
all that easy .... 30 meters is about the most empty band I know of and
what you are finding makes it look more and more crowded with each pass
....
