Hi Jim,

I even got more finger tied today when I tried to transmit using my ST5A.  No 
luck, so I sent the transmit signal from the ST5A to MMTTY to see what it 
looks like on the waterfall screen.  Both tones are sleeping in the same bed 
touching and side by side! This would never do on I Love Lucy in the 50s, and I am 
sure it will not transmit now.  I used a prepunched tape through the TD first 
and then I typed on the 19 with the same results.  The ST5A was set on AFSK.  
I tried this and that, but I could not get the two tones to go to their 
separate corners and behave.  I just sent an email to green keys explaining this.  
Maybe you have some ideas.  The ST5A is made by PEMCO.  So close, but no cigar.
