Thanks Jack,

I am going to see how long the eraser lasts.  I have a feeling it will break 
down in time.  A wood dowel should work too.  I am sure once the top surface 
breaks down to form a pad, it should last a long time.  Now I am looking for a 
cover for the 14.  It did not come with the metal or wood cover.  If I get 
one, I think that I will add a small coal fired forced air furnace to the side to 
warm the machinery up before I start to take copy.  Hi Hi!  It is only 45 
degrees here on the desert in southern Cal, but that is enough to make the 
machine sluggish.  I am writing down five or six questions on transmitting which I 
will share with the group soon.
