[GreenKeys] ST-6000 question

Hi,
   I am setting up an ST-6000 with a M-28KSR that I got from Jack here 
on the list.
Have it hooked up and it receives fine. But can't get it to key the fsk 
line on my IC-706.
Or key the PTT line either. Have checked my wiring and can do both by 
shorting the
Loop 2 plug and the KOS plug. Also the KOS led never goes out.
Anyone have any experience with the 6000?
