Hi

That's kind of the point. Just about nobody has ever been on 30 meters. 
It's a very under used band in the US. Since it's restricted to data 
modes a lot of people forget it's there at all.  A simple dipole is 
around 45 feet long so it will fit on most lots without  getting to 
crazy. Power is limited to 250 watts so you are fine for RTTY and have 
no competition from KW stations running CW.
