Gang -
The Charlotte hamfest turned up a piece of WU Teletype
gear, a morse code tape perforator, w/ manual and a half roll
of 15/32" tape. The wooden cabinet is fair but the top was
abused some with half the hinge knocked loose and a couple of
sweaty beer can rings in the finish. But that protected the great
looking black wrinkle iron inside, altho it has severe arthritis
of the joints. It's mostly keyboard encoding with a big 115vdc
solenoid to punch the tape. I see it encodes a 'dot' as one punch
hole above the other, and a 'dash' as staggered holes. It also
came with some letters, the previous owners attempts to chase down
some rolls of oiled tape - I might proceed with an experiment to
make a tape cutting jig out of wood and razor blades. Anyway
