As usual, I have found a way to spend more money that I really ought to. =
So I am selling some nicer things from my BA collection to raise the =
missing cash. This stuff will eventually be posted to eBay if no one =
here wants it.
FOR SALE
HAL ST-6 RTTY TU. This is a partially built kit. The boards have been =
populated with parts and the panel components have been mounted. But =
nothing is wired together. The metalwork is pristine, some pieces still =
paper-wrapped. With manual copy. $100
Standard Model Mac Key, Radio Telegraph Transmitting Key, Mf'd By =
Theodore R. McElroy, World's Champion Radio Telegrapher, Boston, Mass., =
USA s/n 5647. Needs cleaned but is in nice original
condition. $220
Military Wireless Set No. 19 Mk II, Contract 26224-PHILIA-43 S/N =
13102CRM. These sets are common. But they are seldom seen these days =
with this many of the original accessories: Power supply, dogbone cable, =
power cable, mic/headset combination, mount, front cage bars, crystal =
calibrator (s/n 8160), accessory box, spare tube box with tubes, key, =
"A" set variometer, "B" set antenna with mount and cable, remote control =
box and remote cable, canvas cover, "A" set antenna mount, "Call =
Commander" intercom box and cable, 25 foot mic/headset extension cable =
and the mic breastplate. The radio, PS, headset key, mount, cage and =
canvas cover are in excellent condition. The calibrator, accy box and =
spare tube box are in less good condition but I would still call them =
"good." This set is electrically untested and being sold as-is. But it =
is all original and unmodified. It comes with the original manual and =
the original calibrator manual. $475
Gonset Sidewinder 2 Meter SSB/AM/CW Transceiver s/n G18454 with AC power =
supply s/n 26144. This is a 1960's vintage AM/CW/SSB transceiver =
covering all of 2 meters in 4 1MC bands. 20W input on SSB. 9 watts =
carrier on AM. The snap on AC power supply attached to the back of the =
radio. cosmetically in very nice original condition but missing one =
small knob (black fluted with silver end cap). Electrically untested. I =
did not power this up but I did a visual inspection of the internals and =
it looks to be in good, original shape. Manual photocopy included. The =
tube lineup is 1-6360 Final, 1-12BY7A Driver And 1-6EA6. The rest is =
solid state. $130
Military AN/URM-90 Test Set ZM-30 Bridge s/n 394. This is a 1957-vintage =
CRL bridge with all the bells and whistles. Built like the proverbial =
battleship. Several binding post accessory clips for component testing =
are included. It should have a cover but I don't have that. The front =
panel is very good, but the cabinet has some scratches. Powers up =
without smoking but otherwise untested. A manual photocopy from Fair =
Radio Sales is included. $125
Bird Termaline Wattmeter 6736-030. This is a standard HF wattmeter made =
by Bird. This was designed to be used with the Bird 67C dummy load which =
I do not have. In excellent cosmetic condition. Untested but believed to =
be working. $40
Here's another one that you just will not see advertised for sale =
anywhere: National Rackmount HRO-60R with rack, coil cabinet and =
speaker. This comes with an almost complete set of original coils and =
dial scales including A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, AC and AD. It also has =
the crystal
calibrator installed. The radio is in very good cosmetic condition and =
raspy, noisy poor-performing electrical condition. With original manual. =
