[GreenKeys] T-1148 model tty problems

Hi gang,

I recently acquired a COSSOR "teletypewriter=A8 from a scrap yard.
Even through it is UK made it appears to be USA designed!

It is an interesting device, heavy in the true tty style,
but microprocessor controlled.
Opened it at home and noticed the platern had turned to goo.

I went back to the scrap yard the next weekend,
and acquired the other 7 of them.=20
Car had trouble getting up the hill on the way home.

Replaced the platern, and the processor card,
and it partially works. Does a reset, flashes its lights,
does a return, and a line feed,
it moves the dot matrix printhead for about 20 characters,=20
but nothing prints.
Each keyboard press advances the print head 1 character,
but nothing prints.

The Circuit Secure light is ON and the Receive Busy light is ON,
The 20 pin rear military connector was buzzed out,=20
and applying -15vdc through a 1k resistor to pin A turns Data Secure OFF.
Applying the same to pin E turns Busy OFF and advances the print head,
1 character but nothing prints.

Any ideas?
