The ST-6 uses the MJE340 as well.  I changed numerous ones out due to my not 
being prepaired or paying attention to what i was doing in the past.  I think 
they are about 52 cents from one well known distributer.  I believe they will 
handle up to 300V as most of the loop supplies on older stuff was as much as 
170V and they certainly wanted added protection from spikes etc.
