My Dovetron (#7) arrived in the big brown truck today, outstandingly
packed in every way, and a glory to gaze upon, complete with power
cord. Darn, it looks good, will fire it up SAP!!. It arrived without
so much as a ding or even any injuries to the outer box. I may have
even created a convert in the driver, who has, for some time, been
interested in becoming a ham, having noticed for some time, my "antenna
farm" which, of necessity, is rather crowded in a row house
neighborhood. I think I will at this point, have my first Elmer
experience, (permission, of course, requested from the XYL) which, for
some reason, I have never done previously. I do have nefarious plans on
not only creating a CW obsession ( and not at that stupid 5 WPM either),
but also to addict him to Greenkeys as well, and as quickly as possible
--hi-- I figure the first time that wonderful smell of hot oil, oiled
paper, along with the great sounds of the printing and/or tape punching
on a M15, M14 ROTR, a M28ASR, a Mite, and a soon to be arriving M28
Perf-Reperf,( tomorrow, I darn well forgot to get a money order for the
shipping costs today) are experienced, that the "fix" will be in.....
The first experience of "feeling" a 60Ma neutral loop (by accident,
natch) will be strictly left up to chance ;-)

Thanks to everyone involved in "Project Big Bird", for all their hard
work and unceasing battle against Gov't bureaucracy and red tape. The
wait was definitely worth it. BRAVO ZULU!!!!!!!

Now, there has been some discussion concerning manuals, so if, one can
miraculously be copied, please put me on the waiting list for same.

again, 73 es tnx much de Greg WA3IVX/ NNN0BVN
