Yes, I meant the dial. There should be two power supplies in the
base of the machine. Both have fuses to check. One is the power
supply for the reader; the other is a local power supply that keeps
the machine running closed during the dialing and connection process.
You can experiment with the polarity of the supply to see how it
works best for you.
