[GreenKeys] M32 interfacing

Hi folks:

There is a fellow on a computer list who has an M32 telex machine, who
would like to get it working.  I told him what I thought it was:  5-bit
baudot (1-start/2-stop?), 50-baud.  Is that correct?

I know the telex interface is a speciallized DC-signalling scheme, but I
understand that you can drive it directly with a 20- or 60-mA current loop,
without needing to tap into the selector-driver card.  Can someone
enlighten me as to exactly how this is done?

Any details appreciated.
