The UGC136 appears to be either a dot-matrix or thermal/impact printer. I
got one
from the same person over a year ago and most of the innards
were missing (no print head, cut wires, etc.). The one on Ebay seems
to be more complete, but I don't see a ribbon or ribbon mechanism
anywhere which leads me to believe it might be a thermal/impact
type of printer (special paper in either case). I eventually stripped it
for the parts and threw out the rest of it.

John Bartholomew ("jbart") has been selling the UGC77's, UGC129's and the
UGC136's
for a few years. He's a nice person, but a lousy packer and most of
us who bought the UGC77's from him received them damaged.
