I think this is the same 'Surplus Al' that I have seen at the Elmira (NY) 
hamfest every year for the last few years with the piles of military 
manuals and such.  If we are talking the same person, Al was NOT at this 
year's Elmira 'fest last week.  He was always a "staple" in one particular 
spot at the hamfest but alas was not present this year.
