Hi ...
I saw your item about CompUSA on "Greenkeys" of qth.net...
Some TV stations have "Consumer Advocates" who investigate citizen and
customer complaints and then broadcast the results. Maybe this would be an
item for one of the advocates if there is one in your area.. Having their
trickery exposed and broadcast to the world might change their minds about
their honesty and being under a magnifying glass or in the spotlight!!!
Also, are CompUSA "technicians" certified or licensed? Either by "ISCET" or
their individual State?? I'm certified under the "International Society of
Certified Electronic(s) Technicians" of Texas, and by the Oregon State Board
of Examiners, in an Oregon program, now abolished by Oregon.. The ISCET
industry people only test and certify technicians with a written testing
program and have a four year Apprenticeship Requirement, and don't punish or
discipline bad technicians like doctors and lawyers are. But the last I
heard, some 31 states had adopted the ISCET program and give the test by a
State Board of Examiners, themselves, and forward the results to ISCET.
This way the technicians are also responsible to the testing State.
I sure hate to see these things happen... yet people are responsible for
their actions one way or another...!!!
Something to check on and try...
Best,
