Find an industrial supply that specializes in custom O-rings, and get six
inches of !/4" dia O-ring stock, and cut it to length needed.
The print hammers for the Model 28 series measure .125" wide, .250" deep,
and .375" high. The hole in them is rectangular, .050" wide x.187" high.
It is spaced .067" from one of the .125" x .250" sides, and runs through
the .250" dimension.
I have 27 of them on hand, 26 of which are serviceable, and one that is a
bit too hard to trust for long.
I will part with ten of them. The first ten e-mails requesting one gets
one. Post your print hammer request via email on this reflector, so all
can see what the tally is. You must send me a stamped, self-addressed
envelope in order to get one. Please, if you don't really need one, let
someone who is truly in need of one have a crack at them.
Also, I have a box of eight rolls of red/pink 7/8" Kleinschmidt
reperforator tape that I have no use for. Make me an offer I can't refuse.
You pay the shipping.
This week I will try and get the boxes of stuff and crates of machinery
that I have been promising for so long on their respective ways. Jack Hart
gets 3 Low profile 28 typing unts, a wierd model 32 disguised as a 37, and
a big blue maintenance book on a high-class transceiver. Andy Sekeley Gets
a model 28 bell and a drawing, Someone else gets a case of paper and a box
of ten rolls of perf tape. Have I forgotten anyone? Please let me know.
The joint is overflowing, and I have to make room.
