Charles, et all

McHenry County Illinois is where we are looking for property.

Some of the collection will be installed at the Computer Museum of
America (CMA) in downtown San Diego. This first installation will be
for the code breaking show opening on March 23rd: "Secrets, Lies, and
Teletypes". See: http://www.computer-museum.org

Option 1: The rest except a few items necessary for me to operate a
station in Illinois might be stored by the San Diego development
commission until arrangements are made for the museums (CMA and
NADCOMM) to relocate to the former U.S. Naval Training Center in San
Diego.

Option 2: The rest of the equipment might be hauled back to Illinois
where we are looking for about 2-5 acres and a building suitable for
a museum with semi-public access.

Option 3: The whole NADCOMM collection except for the equipment
installed at CMA might move to Chicago in a location dedicated to
Western Electric and Teletype Corporation supported by the Chicago
Historical Society and the Communications Society of the IEEE.

You see I am not going to stop until my dream is a reality.

Thank you for asking! I am sitting here thinking about all of you
that have supported my efforts over the last eighteen years. The
first donation was from Pulsecom, a division of Hubbell Corporation,
in 1984. (Two 35 ASRs and a 35 RO).

Best wishes from your friend,
Don
