Hi Dick:
Nice to hear from you. I'd love to see some pics of your machines! Does
the Telephone Museum of Seattle have a web-site?
All of those machines are quite rare, I believe. I think that Lorenz had
an agreement with Teletype to build their version of the 15.
I copied this to the greenkeys teletype email list -- are you on this list?
I'm sure there are other folks on greenkeys who will find your tty
machines interesting, and a couple of guys that are into the telephone
switching stuff too.
thanks for writing,
gil

Hi
Noted the statement on the model 20 as being the only one. Here
in the Telephone Museum Seattle we have Model 20 KSR and a model 20
reperf.a couple of other unusual items are an FXRD which is a non typing
reperf working in conjunction with a tape reader with walking gate that
moves up the tape and repeats the last character punched. Another is a
Lorenz German model 15 KSR it looks like it could have been built by
Teletype Corp. Our Museum is mainly devoted to switching where we have
working Number 1 and 5 crossbar, step by step, and probably the only
working Panel office in existance, a number 3 ESS & a North Electric switch
that served on the battleship California and was taken as a trade before
Pearl Harbor . Will keep in touch.
