My friend W7JYJ and I did a lot of bearing replacements in our Model 28
motors. The bearings of course need to be greased, but lots of them seem
to wear out and get noisy. Since the bearings are press fitted you may
need a bearing puller to get them off - those are available pretty cheap
tho it may be a problem finding one small enough. And to put them on
you just need a piece of pipe the right size to fit over the shaft and
press against the inner race of the bearing.
It's not hard to find new bearings at a bearing store. You can't be too
choosy about the style tho - you might find open bearings like the ones
that come with the motors, or you might find bearings sealed on one or
both sides.
